NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 8, 2019) – There were 4,172 home closings reported for the month of June, according to figures provided by Greater Nashville REALTORS®. This figure is up 3.4 percent from the 4,036 closings reported for the same period last year.
“Consumers are taking full advantage of our vibrant local and national economy,” said Andrew Terrell, Greater Nashville REALTORS® president. “Falling mortgage rates are boosting consumer confidence when it comes to buying and selling homes, which is evident in the 2.3 percent increase in sales year-to-date compared to 2018.”
Data for the second quarter of 2019 showed 11,823 closings, up 5.4 percent from the 11,222 closings during the second quarter of 2018.
